Downtown Boy Scout Troop

Living here in the heart of the city, you know that Downtown Minneapolis has a lot to offer – great restaurants, cultural activities, sports, and more!

Families come from all over the metro area to enjoy downtown, but did you know that for almost 100 years families have also been coming downtown to be part of one of the most successful Boy Scout Troops in Minnesota?

Yes, Troop 33, based at Westminster Presbyterian Church, has been in operation since 1918. Boys of all backgrounds come from across the metro area to join the troop, known especially for high adventure and youth leadership opportunities.

Troop 33 has graduated well over 300 Eagle Scouts and membership continues to grow. If you have sons aged 10-17 who are interested in Scouts, check out Troop 33.

Also, with growing numbers of families locating downtown there is strong interest to establish a Cub Scout pack at Westminster for boys 5-10. The Cub program is a great way to get started in scouting.
