Downtown Minneapolis Cub Scout Pack 33

This past October the new Cub Scout Pack 33 was formed.   Since then the group has grown to about 15 boys K-2nd grade.  Families from in and around downtown – Kenwood, Northeast, North Loop, Uptown make up the pack.  Most of the packs meetings have been held at the Kenwood community center though there some field trips like a behind the scenes tour of the Crashed Ice festival in St Paul.  Pack 33 is sponsored by Downtown Boy Scout Troop 33 and Westminster Presbyterian Church and is open to all.

The boys have had a lot of fun in the pack activities which have included designing games and and obstacle course, creating and performing puppet theater, physical fitness, Polar Cubs day camp at Rum River and getting ready for the upcoming Pinewood Derby!  Later in March we will have our first Blue and Gold banquet where awards for the year will be handed out, and in April we’ll join with other volunteers on Earth Day to help clean up a Minneapolis park as our spring service project.
Cub scouts teaches boys from Kindergarten to 5th grade about curiosity, friendship, leadership, service and more, all while having fun.  if you’re interested in learning more about Cub Scouts and specifically the new Cub Scout Pack 33 for the downtown area you can like us on Facebook (look up ‘Cub Scout Pack 33 Minneapolis’) or on the web at
