Minneapolis Public School Board Elections Nov. 4th

On November 4th, Minneapolis voters will be asked to vote for two of the remaining four at-large candidates running for the Minneapolis Public School board. Downtown Families Minneapolis supports strong schools and, as such, we want you to be an informed voter and we encourage you to vote.

Mid-term elections historically have a low turnout, and for those who do vote, school board candidates are often overlooked by voters on the ballot. For something as important as our childrens’ future, we ask that you learn about the school board candidates and make your voice heard on November 4th.

Over the past year, the current Minneapolis Public School board and staff have been open and engaged with the members of the Downtown Families Minneapolis organization. They have been very receptive as we provided input on the brand-new Webster Elementary School, which will be the default public community elementary school for families living downtown.

Please take the time to learn about the school board candidates and vote on November 4th!
